Really Basic Pixel Walk-throughI'm a visual learner, I learn better from watching and not reading.. so that's why I've done a video for it c:
These are great if you want to do some commissions since you can sell them for 30-70 points each, or more depending how good you can make them look ~

I am sorry though, the link it had to help you get SAI for it doesn't work but you can still use GIMP which is free and easy to use plus it'll do the same job :3

But do bare in mind that this is how I do them and they are very basic so who knows, you may find a better way to do them but for now, why not enjoy the basics? n.n

Be warned that being in the habit of tracing will prevent learning to actually draw the thing.

It's possible to learn the skill of copying a photo, regardless of what the photo is. This is one step up from tracing -- it's a useful skill in drawing, but in both cases it's relying on the photos as a crutch.

To really learn how to draw, -- to be able to do things entirely from imagination and have it look believable -- one needs to learn proportions, anatomy, perspective, fundamentals.
